2022, a turning point for Prototypez and looking ahead.
We ended 2022 with an amazing fundraiser. Together with our incredible friends from Harmony Homes, a poker tournament/casino night fundraiser was held at the Westgate Resort on December 17. Some of our Interns were in attendance to act as hosts/hostesses and to enjoy their big night. The night also included silent and live auctions hosted by John at Give Back Fundraising, amazing entertainment, buffet style dinner, deserts, competitive poker tournaments and a delicious coffee bar sponsored by eCoffee Solutions. There was also some original, incredible artwork included in the live auction from the talented Antonio at Antoniofineart.com. As always, our devoted team from Therapy Blocks LLC were also in attendance to support this special event. I'm sharing some of the photos of the memorable night in this post. We look forward to working with our friends at Harmony Homes more in the future, they share our common values and believe in the power of community outreach and giving back. We so appreciate their support as well as all of our sponsors.
Looking ahead for 2023, Prototypez will be adding more classes and events to strengthen our core goal, providing a solid foundation for our interns to enter todays workforce. We will also be focusing on social skills and job preparation/planning for our interns individually so that each young adult or teen can have the confidence they will need to be competitive. We will be adding more staff/volunteers as we grow to assure that each intern receives personalized attention as they do now. Our new location gives us the room to grow and with each successful fundraiser, we will continue to expand and add to our already successful program.
